Holiday Home at Water Front

Accommodation is included in the booking of the Guiding Package. The modern and well-equipped holiday home is located in Oude-Tonge, a picturesque village on the southernmost tip of the South Dutch islands. The small village is about 1.5 hours away from Amsterdam or about 45 minutes from Rotterdam. The journey can be made from Amsterdam by express train to Rotterdam and from there by bus to Oude-Tonge. There I gladly pick up my guests. On request, I can also organize the transfer from Amsterdam or better from Rotterdam.

The holiday home is quiet and situated directly on the water, so it is perfect for a fishing holiday. After breakfast, we are already 10 steps later in the boat and nothing stands in the way of the start of the fishing day.

After a wonderful day on the water, the landscape around Oude-Tonge invites you to take a leisurely stroll. The village and the small Marinapark are worth seeing. The end of the day can be enjoyed on the spacious terrace or in the small village with a cool drink. The next day is waiting!

You can cook in the accommodation and buy fresh products in the nearby supermarket, or you can enjoy a cosy and relaxed breakfast buffet in the Restaurant Lely for 13€ starting as early as 06:00 hrs. After the strains of the day, the Restaurant Lely offers you an interesting menu with great variety and very fresh ingredients. As a guest of myfishguide.ch you have a preferential price for starter, main course (meat, side dish) and dessert for 21€. You pay directly in the restaurant. 

My services are not limited to guiding alone. I organize the holiday home, take care of the fishing licenses (Vispas), provide you with fishing equipment, give you tips on fishing techniques, bait or waters. You can relax and look forward to the excursions. Just enjoy the nice time in the Netherlands in a cosy atmosphere. Are you an enthusiastic angler but not your partner? No problem. The size of the house also offers solutions for this.

The holiday homes are always comfortable and well-equipped houses with three bedrooms, typically 1 room with 2 single beds or with bunk beds, 1 room with a double bed or with 2 single beds. This means that two bedrooms are available for guests. The accommodation is shared with me. I use the third room personally.

Oude-Tonge itself is very picturesque and offers scenic experiences. The coasts with the marinas, bridges and dams of the Delta Works, windmills and many cycle paths along the lakes. Rotterdam and Amsterdam can be reached in 1-2 hours. This makes your stay a special experience even for non-fishing friends or family members.
